Sudanese Conjoined Twins To Be Treated On Sunday In Riyadh





The Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, a medical-surgical team will perform separation surgery on Sudanese Siamese twins at the King Abdullah Specialist Hospital for Children in King Abdul Aziz Medical City in Riyadh.

The supervisor general of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSRelief), Abdullah Al-Rabeeah said that this gesture from the crown prince comes as an extension of the great humanitarian efforts being undertaken by the Kingdom.




He added that the twins (Jana and Juad) are 13-month-old females who are joined at the chest and abdomen. But the success rate for the surgery is estimated to be 60 percent, on Sunday.
