Real Madrid to appeal Ronaldo’s red card against Barcelona


         Real Madrid will appeal the red card handed to Cristiano Ronaldo in the first leg of the Spanish Super Cup against Barcelona, according to manager Zinedine Zidane.
At the game which ended 3-1 in favour of Real, Ronaldo came in as a substitute to score a beautiful goal. He was then given a yellow card for taking off his shirt in celebration.
Minutes later, the referee, Ricardo de Burgos Bengoetxea, booked Ronaldo again for simulation as the Portuguese star lost his footing under the challenge of Samuel Umtiti,The development means Ronaldo will not be fielded in the reverse fixture at the Bernabeu on Wednesday.
